I want to thank all of you for all that you do. Lori and I had our first seminar last night at the Red Lobster. Our count was a little low but I have 20 for Thursday.We had 8 buying units and I booked 5. I truly believe that this is directly due to the training, support and very professional marketing materials and presentation provided by TAG. All I had to do is get my presentation down pat and just show up. I simply did what Karlan does. I do not think anyone had an idea I am just getting started in the business and we even received 2 compliments on what a great presentation it was and what a great speaker I was. On Producer's Web, when Senior Market Advisor named the top five most influential men in the fixed annuity arena I disagreed with them. I wrote them and told them so. Karlan by far has been the most important or significant one person in the fixed index annuity industry. He has brilliantly framed the role of the index annuity for investors. Through his leadership, he has addressed every obstacle and objection the security industry has. He truly believes in his product and so do I. I have recently met with two prospects who brought their stock brokers with them and I found that they have not thought about what they are doing. Karlan is a thinker and please tell him for me that Albert Einstein said "It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer." That is what I get from Dr. Tucker.

I wanted to personally thank you for your investment in our industry! I attended your Iron Sharpening Iron event on February 19th - 20th, 2009, and have a follow up testimonial regarding its effectiveness. The 15 minute Insafement presentation and role playing has changed my effectiveness and efficiency dramatically. I worked on the presentation several times over the weekend upon my return, then I immediately began using that presentation on Three 1st appointments that were scheduled for the week after I returned from ISI. As a direct result of using that presentation, I was able to close all 3 of those clients in either the 1st or 2nd appointments adding a little more than $1,000,000 worth of new money to our firm! Keep in mind, today is only March 6, 2009! I have only been implementing it for less than 2 weeks!

Not only am I thrilled about the immediate results that I am experiencing, but I am looking at my annual targets and wondering what I will be doing after June. I guess I might have to double my target if I expect to be busy; that is a good problem to have in an economy where many are very challenged and for that I am extremely grateful. The Iron Sharpening Iron training was just what I needed. Karlan, I didn't really have an extra $500 for training and $400 for an airline ticket.  What I did have was hope.  My wife and I didn't know what we would do if I came back empty handed.  I guess God knew when to answer our prayers, never stop praying! Anyway, our workshop dates were 6/4/08 and 6/11/08.  So far we've had six appointments.  Today, we helped two clients, with four applications and a total premium of approximately $145,000. Tomorrow I have two appointments and I just got off the phone with both confirming, these are both 2nd appointments from last week.  My confidence and ability to answer objections is so much better, I can't put it in words. But the proof will be in the closings.  I can't wait to see the clients this week and Monday the 30th.  Karlan and crew thank you and God Bess.

Just wanted to take a moment to let you all know how much sitting under Karlan's seminar and 1st and 2nd appointment training has helped our business. It's been a month since we've been out to Denver, and since then my office has written $600,000 in Bonus Gold premium. This is before we've even launched our 1st seminar. My office is in a town of 5500, a very small community, so this kind of premium coming from this community is phenomenal. We plan to do our seminars in a larger metropolis about 60 miles from us. This past week I closed half a million dollars in FIA's using your sales presentation materials (exclusively). I figure, at this rate, 10 million dollars worth of new sales per year is totally doable.

This is my first American Equity case... not too shabby. $190k in annuity premium. And, I've got to be honest, Karlan's material is what sealed the deal on this one. Throughout the process of dealing with this client I referenced several "Tucker Tips", as well as shared annual statements, etc. That is what got this case done!! I am very grateful that we found TAG!!!! And, I'm anxious to build a lasting business relationship/friendship with everyone at TAG.

Now then, we have 2 seminars scheduled (August 7th & August 14th). Last time I checked we have 36 registered for one and 27 (so far) for the other. So, now that we have an audience to speak to we need to hustle!!!! I am anxious to visit with you guys either this afternoon or tomorrow and strategize on a way to get us rolling for these first few seminars from a learning standpoint. We can fine tune as we continue to do seminars and we certainly will!!!!

Since I met you in April my business has literally taken off. Interestingly it was the result of paying attention to the details gleaned from you, in your office re/dealing with conservation issues, the education of the client as to what is about to transpire. This month will be my first million dollar month. Five short years ago I entered this field of work knowing very little. I earned a series 7 and 63. They have long expired as I now only talk about annuities at my seminars. I have always read these kind of testimonials in the past and chalked them up to gross fabrications.
